When performing secondary maintenance on the car, it is necessary to check the working condition of the shock absorber. The check method is: the lower end of the shock absorber is fixed on the vice, and the hand is stretched and compressed several times. The normal shock absorber should have a certain damping force, and the resistance to stretching should be greater than the resistance to compression. If it is unstable or has no resistance, it may be that the shock absorber lacks oil or the parts are damaged, and it should be repaired or replaced with new parts.
